HANGIN' WITH MR. COOPER
Man, some of my clients are so frickin’ cool that I sometimes feel like I'm hangin' out with Fonzy or somethin'.
Like, I recently did a T-shirt design (above) for a small company called COOPER CUSTOMS, who make customized parts 'n' pieces for motorcycles, specializing in the most bad-ass set of handlebars I've ever seen in my life, called "Ape Hangers."

Collin from Cooper Customs dropped me a note after finding Cheesygraphics.com, and asked me if I could draw something monstery for him, with a chick. I suggested a monster ape, with a chick.
He liked that.
He sent me some pictures of his custom work, one sample of which is a shiny chrome crown-shaped gas cap. I liked that!
From the red dice in the ends of the Ape Hangers, to the double-barrel shot gun foot pegs, to the knob with the real pig testicle incased in lucite, Collin's shit is the fucking titty-ass bomb, and he was a real pleasure to work with as well. One of the coolest clients I‘ve ever had.
Golly, just doing artwork for people as like Collin and Cooper Customs makes me feel almost like I’M Fonzy for a little bit! AYYYYYY! |
